    The Opportunity

    Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO), under the leadership of President Brad Hodson, invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA). Overseeing a $158 million budget and providing strategic leadership for finance, facilities, information technology, human resources, and public safety, the VPFA ensures that SEMO’s resources effectively support growth, innovation, and student success. The VPFA also serves as treasurer of the Board of Governors and as a key member of the President’s executive staff.

    The next VPFA will deliver the financial stewardship, operational excellence, and forward-thinking strategies essential to strengthening the University’s long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and relationship-oriented leader who partners effectively with President Hodson, the Board of Governors, senior administrators, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to build financial resilience and enhance operational capacity.
