The Opportunity
Radford University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Nursing (9-month academic-year position) to join the College of Nursing’s Undergraduate Department on the main campus and support the prelicensure BSN program. This faculty role offers the opportunity to educate and mentor future nurses through in-person instruction, skills laboratory teaching, and clinical experiences in acute care and community settings.
The successful candidate will join a student-centered, mission-driven College of Nursing that values innovative teaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Faculty contribute to curriculum development, shared governance, and scholarly engagement, and are supported through mentoring, onboarding, and professional development opportunities. This position is ideal for an educator passionate about preparing the next generation of nurses in a supportive public university environment.
