Arizona State University (ASU) invites nominations and applications for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Vice Provost and Dean of ASU's Graduate College to lead the continued evolution of graduate education across one of the nation's most innovative public research universities.
Reporting to Executive Vice President and University Provost Dr. Nancy Gonzales, the Vice Provost and Dean will provide strategic leadership for graduate education at ASU and guide the next chapter of the Graduate College's development. This leader will advance a bold vision for graduate education by fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, administrators, students, postdoctoral scholars, and external partners while helping to shape innovative approaches that enhance academic excellence, student success, interdisciplinary engagement, and societal impact.
As the University's chief advocate for graduate education, the Vice Provost and Dean will champion the needs of graduate students, faculty, and postdoctoral scholars while ensuring that policies, programs, and support systems position ASU's graduate enterprise for continued growth and distinction. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the University to strengthen graduate pathways, expand interdisciplinary opportunities, and cultivate partnerships with industry, government, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders.
