The University of Denver (DU) invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Provost for Internationalization. The Vice Provost for Internationalization (VPI) leads the university on international programs, partnerships and services.  The VPI is responsible for developing and implementing the university’s comprehensive international agenda and globalization efforts. The VPI is the public voice for international education and scholarship and plays a key role in promoting and facilitating cross-campus opportunities for international education, research, and engagement. The VPI oversees a large and complex set of units, including the Center for World Languages and Cultures, the English Language Center, International Student and Scholar Services, and the Office of International Education, which runs DU’s hallmark undergraduate experience, the Cherrington Global Scholars program. The VPI has responsibility for a growing internationalization curriculum that includes credit-bearing classes for study abroad and language learning. The VPI is responsible for the development and continuation of DU’s strategic partnerships with select institutions abroad, an essential part of our long-term vision.
