Lamar University invites nominations and applications for an innovative academic leader to serve as the Associate Provost for Research and Sponsored Projects (APRSS). The Associate Provost for Research and Sponsored Projects (APRSS) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with faculty, deans, and stakeholders in federal, industrial, and institutional environments; providing leadership in promoting the visibility of the university’s research efforts, as well as in developing and expanding research programs and services; and providing mentorship and oversight of the units that report to the associate provost, including effective supervision of unit leaders.
