West Virginia University is launching a national search for the next Dean of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences—an inspirational, forward-thinking leader who will help shape the future of the Mountaineer family. Reporting to the provost, the Dean of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University will serve as the chief academic and executive officer of the College. The Dean will provide strategic leadership, vision, and management to support excellence in the College's teaching, research, and service mission, consistent with West Virginia University's top-tier research ratings, national reputation, and institutional priorities. The ideal candidate will be a visionary, goal-oriented, and collaborative academic leader with a record of success in a large, complex academic organization.
